What Does A Woman Feel Like?: Fucking While Feminist Episode 55

Like, what do words mean anyhow when it comes to sex and gender?

Transgender artist and educator and all around delightful person Rebecca Kling joins Jaclyn to answer a listener’s thorny question about how any of us know what it feels like to be a woman, what sexuality & gender ideas we wish there was better language for and which words we love the most, That’s What She Said jokes, the f-bomb and more. Then we help a listener out with that funny feeling when what you believe and what turns you on don’t line up. Oh, and there’s pudding!

  • Not a lot to note this week, but don’t forget to send us your favorite and least favorite words for sex and gender things, and the things you wish there were words for! Tweet @jaclynf & @RebeccaKling, or email Jaclyn at [email protected]

50 Shades of Over It: FWF Episode 53 (take 2!)

[There was a file error in the last post, so we’re trying again.]

WE’RE BACK. And unless you’ve been living under a log, you know that so is the woman-hating kinkphobic abuse manual called 50 Shades of Grey, which hits theaters on Friday.

Last month, Jaclyn learned all about the horrors 50 Shades via bestselling author Jenny Trout’s world-famous hate-read recaps, and today she’s got Jenny on the line to ask the key questions, including: What does it mean that so many women love a book that hates them so much? If most things are better than 50 Shades, what are the best things that are better than 50 Shades? How did you wind up on the Steve Harvey Show? Do you have Stockholm Syndrome with respect to E.L. James? Then we take on a listener question about coming out as submissive to a new beau.

MARK Leadership Conference – February 28th 2015 at Rutgers University

The purpose of this conference is to inspire action among students and encourage them to think critically about the “mark” they will leave on the world around them. When we use phrases like “the real world” to characterize what students will do after graduation, students often believe that what they do during college is some sort of simulated experience. The leadership office wants to dispel that myth and empower students to think of themselves as agents of change not only on campus but within the community and the world. This conference will showcase speakers that rose to the occasion and made their mark on society in a variety of different ways.

Livingston Student Center,
84 Joyce Kilmer Avenue
Piscataway, NJ, 08854
